1986 Lina Hölscher was born in Berlin.
She studied Theatre Studies at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich and Performance Making at the Goldsmiths College London. She assisted at different Productions at Deutsches Theater Berlin and Münchner Volkstheater for Directors like Michael Thalheimer, Christian Petzold and Christian Stückl .
Lina Hölscher directed several Plays at the Rationaltheater in Munich before she went to work as an Assistant Director at Schauspielhaus Graz to support Directors like Anna Badora and Yael Ronen.
On the Ebene 3, the studio of the Schauspielhaus Graz, she worked on a couple of directed readings before she successfully directed 'Orphans' by Dennis Kelly and 'P'tit Albert' by Jean-Marie Frin after a shortstory by Jack London in Graz. In 2014/15 Lina Hölscher directed the Solo 'Körpergewicht 17%' by Ewald Palmetshofer.
